Academic physician group practice seeks an experienced Physician Billing Supervisor.  Responsible for supervising departmental billing representatives and data entry personnel to ensure accurate and timely charge capture, charge reconciliation, and charge entry. 

Position requires extensive knowledge of third-party payer operating procedures, regulations and billing requirements; especially those for Medicare and Medicaid.  Must possess a good working knowledge of medical information systems for physician billing.  Previous supervisory experience is a must and a proven ability to lead and manage others effectively.

Candidate should be detail-oriented and possess critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to create or improve electronic and manual charge capture workflows.
